Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mathematics Teacher to teach secondary-level students under CBSE and ICSE curricula. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE and ICSE syllabi.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Utilize interactive and innovative teaching methods, including real-life applications, problem-solving techniques, and technology-based tools.
  • Prepare students for board examinations through systematic teaching, mock tests, and revision sessions.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
  • Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through engaging classroom activities.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and performance reports as per school guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and participate in professional development programs.
  • Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic performance and progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification: B.Ed. and M.Sc./B.Sc. in Mathematics or a related field (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school.
  • Skills:
    • Strong command over CBSE and ICSE Mathematics curriculum.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
    • Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
    • Proficiency in digital teaching tools, smart classrooms, and online learning platforms.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in board exam preparations and competitive exam coaching.
  • Ability to integrate technology, simulations, and real-world problem-solving in teaching.

Job Description:

     Job Title: Primary English Teacher & Middle School English Teacher
     Location: Bannerghatta, Bengaluru

Key Accountabilities/Activities:
 
  • To be effectively prepared for each lesson plan i.e. read plans, attend curriculum related workshops and seek clarification, if necessary.
  • Be aware of the objectives in the lesson plan and introduces accordingly.
  • Be logical and clear in presentation of the introduction of lesson plan.
  • Teach as per instructions given in the lesson plan and makes use of various teaching aids, resources, activities, assignments listed in the lesson plan.
  • Integrates information from other areas within and outside the lesson plan and gives relevant examples, metaphors and analogies, use of creativity, humor and imagination to establish connections with students previous learning.
  • Use of effective voice intonation to communicate and instructs using correct and appropriate language and grammar.
  • Maintain eye contact and moves around the class with ease and interacts with students.
  • Classroom arrangement should be appropriate to lesson plan goals. planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes including putting up displays in the classroom
  • Translate lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time.
